NAAFA-LA celebrates people of all
shapes and sizes!
The Los Angeles Chapter of NAAFA exists to provide our Southern California community a space for the advocacy and empowerment of peoples of various sizes, functions, and shapes. In short…
NAAFA-LA promotes size diversity
and acceptance!
We promote diversity and acceptance by supporting people of size; advocating for our legal, cultural, and interpersonal rights; and educating our members and the general public about vital, size-related issues. We are committed to personally and politically empowering people of size, demanding equal treatment and access for a variety of body types, and putting an end to damaging stereotypes about all body types.
NAAFA is a non-profit, human rights organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for fat people and other victims of sizeism. NAAFA has been working since 1969 to eliminate discrimination based on body size and to provide people of size with the tools for self-empowerment through public education, advocacy, and member support.
If you think size discrimination is unfair and unacceptable, join NAAFA-LA today!
